Section 03Services / Capabilities
What we do

Nine ways we can
be useful.

A concentrated set of services chosen because they compound. Everything below is delivered by the same small team, so a project that starts as one thing can naturally grow into another without changing hands.

  • SERVICE / 01

    Custom Software Development

Applications built from your business domain up — starting with the model, not the framework. We choose languages and architectures for long-term maintainability, write documentation as we go, and hand over code that another engineering team could take over tomorrow.

    • Domain modelling
    • Backend systems
    • Long-lived codebases
  • SERVICE / 02

    Web Development

Modern web applications and marketing surfaces that are fast, accessible and easy to update. Server rendering where it matters, progressive enhancement, thoughtful performance budgets and a design system your team can extend without our help.

    • React / Next.js
    • Design systems
    • Performance
  • SERVICE / 03

    Digital Product Development

End-to-end product work: research and discovery, prototyping, engineering and iteration after launch. Especially useful for teams turning a prototype or internal tool into something ready for real customers.

    • Discovery
    • Prototyping
    • Productionization
  • SERVICE / 04

    Cloud Solutions

Infrastructure designed as code, reproducible across environments, and observable in production. We help teams pick the right cloud posture — managed services, containers, serverless — for their actual workload rather than the current trend.

    • AWS · GCP · Azure
    • Kubernetes
    • Infrastructure as code
  • SERVICE / 05

    API & System Integration

The unglamorous plumbing that makes an organisation work: connecting CRMs, ERPs, payment providers, warehouses and internal tools into a coherent system with clear contracts, error handling and observability.

    • REST · GraphQL · gRPC
    • Event-driven
    • Data pipelines
  • SERVICE / 06

    IT Consulting

Short, focused engagements for technical due diligence, architecture reviews, hiring plans and roadmap sanity checks. A written report, honest recommendations and, when useful, a follow-up implementation phase.

    • Architecture review
    • Due diligence
    • Roadmapping
  • SERVICE / 07

    Software Modernization

Careful renovation of legacy systems. Incremental rewrites, language and framework migrations, monolith decomposition and dependency upgrades — all done in a way that keeps the business running throughout the work.

    • Legacy refactor
    • Migrations
    • Monolith → services
  • SERVICE / 08

    Quality Assurance

Testing strategies that pay for themselves: unit and integration tests written next to the code, end-to-end tests for the paths that matter, continuous integration that makes green a meaningful signal.

    • Test automation
    • CI pipelines
    • Release engineering
  • SERVICE / 09

    Technical Support & Maintenance

The work that starts after launch. Monitoring, on-call arrangements, dependency updates, quarterly reviews and a steady stream of small improvements that keep a system feeling new for years.

    • On-call
    • Monitoring
    • Long-term retainers

Engagement shapes

Choose the shape that fits.

Discovery week

A fixed-price week of interviews, architecture sketches and a written brief. Ideal when you have a problem but not yet a plan.

Delivery sprint

A time-boxed engagement to build a specific slice of a system, ship it, and hand it over with documentation and tests.

Embedded team

Our engineers work alongside yours for a defined period, contributing code, patterns and reviews inside your existing process.

Retainer

A monthly arrangement for maintenance, on-call and steady improvement work on systems we have shipped together.

Not on this list

If it isn't listed, ask anyway.

The services above are the disciplines we practice constantly. Adjacent work — data engineering, developer tooling, technical writing, hiring support — turns up often inside these engagements. If something you need sits nearby, a short email describing the situation is the fastest way to find out whether we're a good fit.
